Application:
1). Used in the preparation of drug intermediates with specific D-configurations (e.g., certain antibiotics or antitumor drugs), whose chiral structure may affect the activity or metabolic pathway of the drug.
2). Copolymerization with L-lactic acid methyl ester to modulate the crystallinity, thermal stability or degradation rate of poly(lactic acid) (PLA) materials, extending their applications in biomedical materials.
