Application:

1). In fine fragrance, isoamyl salicylate functions as a rounded middle-to-base note with solid tenacity.

2). It is a foundational ingredient in classic carnation, hyacinth, orchid and fougère accords, adding soft, diffused floral body without the sharp herbaceous edge of n-amyl salicylate.

3). It also softens heavy oriental and amber blends, lending a gentle, sweet floral lift to dense base notes.

4). For personal care and home care products, isoamyl salicylate delivers consistent floral performance across a pH range of 4.5 to 10. This makes it compatible with both acidic body washes and alkaline soap and detergent bases.

5). Typical dosage falls between 0.1% and 2% in bar soaps, shampoos, shower gels, laundry detergents and fabric softeners.

6). Aligned fully with FEMA GRAS guidelines, isoamyl salicylate adds soft herbal-floral depth to food flavors at low inclusion rates.

Storage:

1). Store isoamyl salicylate in tightly sealed, upright containers in a cool, dry, well-ventilated warehouse space. Maintain consistent storage temperatures between 5°C and 25°C for optimal quality retention.

2). Under proper conditions, unopened containers retain full sensory and chemical quality for 24 months. Material stored beyond this window should be retested before use in production. After opening, reseal containers promptly after each use to minimize air and moisture exposure.

3). Note that isoamyl salicylate is classified as very toxic to aquatic life with long-lasting effects. Contain all spills fully and never allow material to enter drains, sewers or natural water systems.
