Application:
1). Leaf alcohol is used in melon, apple, pear, berry, and grape flavors. It adds a fresh, green, dewy note to mint, vegetable, and beverage flavors.
2). In perfumery, it is a top-note green ingredient. It builds floral, citrus, and green accords.
3). It is widely used in fine fragrances, cosmetics, soaps, and household products.
4). It is also used as a tobacco flavoring.
Storage:
1). Leaf alcohol is flammable. UN number 1987. Flash point 44–62 °C. Store in a cool, dark place.
2). The melting point is about 22.5 °C. In cool weather it may solidify.
3). Keep away from oxidizers and acids. Wear gloves and eye protection.
