Application:
1). Food flavor is the main market.Flavorists use it for citrus, melon, vegetable, and nut profiles. It goes into beverages, confectionery, and chewing gum.
2). It works in marine, tea, mimosa, hyacinth, and citrus accords.
3). It makes 1-heptanol, ethyl heptanoate, and heptanoic acid. It also condenses with benzaldehyde to form jasmonaldehyde.
