Application:

1). Paints and Coatings. Functions as a retarder solvent in nitrocellulose lacquers, baked enamels, and air-dried enamels. Its moderate evaporation rate and strong solvency promote excellent film leveling and gloss development. Also serves as a coalescing aid in latex paint formulations.

2). Leather Finishes. Used as a leather brightener and high-boiling solvent in water-soluble nitrocellulose gloss agents. Delivers superior brightness, softness, and prevents whitening of the gloss layer.

3). Printing Inks & Adhesives. Acts as a solvent in screen inks and adhesive formulations, enhancing flow, drying characteristics, and application properties.

4). Plasticizers & Organic Synthesis. Key intermediate in plasticizer production and solvent carrier in organic synthesis.

5). Flavors & Fragrances. Provides fruity ester notes in perfumes, personal care products, beverages, and confectionery.

6). Cleaners & Paint Strippers. Added to cleaning agents and paint removal formulations to adjust volatility and solvency.

Storage:

1). Store in a cool, dry, and well-ventilated area at temperatures below 30°C. Keep containers tightly closed when not in use.

2). Incompatible Materials. Segregate from strong oxidizing agents, acids, and bases. Do not store together.

3). Fire Prevention. Classified as a combustible liquid (UN 1993). Keep away from heat, sparks, open flames, and other ignition sources. Use explosion-proof ventilation equipment.
