Application:

1). As a key flavor ingredient, it imparts or enhances the flavor profiles of caramel, maple syrup, brown sugar, malt, nuts, baked goods, chocolate, coffee, toffee, and more.

‌‌2). Widely used in baked goods, candies, ice cream, dairy products, desserts, syrups, seasonings, meat flavorings, and other applications.

‌3). Often used in combination with flavor enhancers such as vanillin, ethyl vanillin, maltol, and ethyl maltol to significantly enhance overall sweet, caramel, and dairy aromas while improving texture.

‌4). Used in the formulation of cola-type beverages, coffee beverages, dairy beverages, functional beverages, and other beverages requiring caramel, maple syrup, or nutty flavors.

‌5). Used as a flavor ingredient in cigarettes and other tobacco products to improve tobacco taste, enhance sweetness, caramel aroma, and roasted aroma, mask harshness, and enhance smoke quality.

‌6). Although not as widely used in food applications, it is also used in certain personal care product fragrances requiring sweet, caramel, baked, or vanilla notes, such as high-end soap fragrances and certain cosmetic fragrances.
