Application:
1). Lubricant: As a component of mechanical lubricants or metalworking fluids, it has low volatility and good lubricity.
2). Solvents: Used to dissolve inks, coatings, resins, etc., especially to replace conventional volatile organic compounds (VOCs) in scenarios requiring environmentally friendly solvents.
3). Emollient: added to lotions and creams to enhance skin softness and moisturization.
4). Penetration enhancers: help active ingredients (e.g. vitamins, drugs) to pass through the skin barrier and enhance absorption efficiency.
5). Drug carriers: used in liposomes for injection or carriers for topical drug formulations.
6). Transdermal drug delivery systems: Promote transdermal absorption of drugs to minimize side effects of oral or injections.
